• Website URLs — submitted for analysis
• Email addresses — only when you voluntarily use the "Email me this report" feature

Information collected automatically:

• IP addresses — used solely for rate limiting to prevent abuse, not stored long-term
• Basic analytics — page views and usage patterns via Vercel Analytics (no personal tracking)

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not require account creation or passwords
• We do not use tracking cookies for advertising
• We do not collect personal information beyond what is listed above

3. How We Use Your Information

• URLs — to fetch and analyze the submitted website
• Email addresses — only to send the roast report you requested; we do not use emails for marketing or share them with third parties
• IP addresses — only for rate limiting (preventing abuse)

4. Payment Processing

Pro purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank details, or other financial information. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — to generate AI analysis (website data is sent for processing)
• Stripe — for payment processing
• Resend — for sending email reports
• Vercel — for hosting
• Neon — for database hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

6. Data Retention

• Roast results — stored indefinitely to allow sharing via URL
• Email addresses — not stored after the report is sent
• Rate limit records — automatically expire after 24 hours

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your roast data
• Request information about what data we hold
• Opt out of any future communications

8. Children's Privacy

KindRoast is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
